We had a wonderful, Area VIII Adult Rider, two day clinic here in Lexington. I really enjoyed everyone who attended. It was a really fun group of riders with willing, trainable horses.
On Saturday we gathered at my farm and worked on balance in the canter and being able to adjust the stride. After working through a gymnastic we were then able to carry that over to single fences then courses. I was extremely pleased with all horses and riders.
Sunday, we went to the Kentucky Horse Park for cross- country schooling. After Saturday’s lesson, all the horses were very rideable in the open. The riders were able to go forward and back and carry a balanced canter to the fences. All the horses jumped really well and it was a great day.
I want to thank everyone for attending the clinic and I hope to see you all again soon!
