CW Event Team Blog

Hi everyone,

Just a quick blog to catch you up on the CW Event Team  happenings. 

I attended the USEA meeting in Reston Virginia and it was fun and informative.

Some of the hot topics were the training three-day,  new dressage tests, and recent studies on frangible pins and safer cross country jumps.  I also found time to strap on a pair of ice skates and attempt a few rounds on the ice rink that was right outside the hotel.  Didn’t fall either!!!

Currently I am in Wellingon, Florida participating in a USET fundraiser sponsored by Succeed.  It is very fun as I am meeting some awesome people like Monty Roberts, Templeton Thompson (Country Western singer/songwriter), Kai Vorberg (Vaulter),  and Courtney King-Dye to name a few. 

I am home on the 13^th from this trip and thankfully do not have to go anywhere until I head to Ocala and Longwood Farm in mid January.

The other exciting piece of news is that the cover is completed on the arena at the farm.  There is still some drainage to be finished and landscaping to be done but it is in use and it awesome!!!  Check out the pictures in the media section of the website.
