Simba
Simba is the first foal out of Cathy’s four star mare, Spelga Dam, and Bruce Davidson’s previous mount, Lion King. He has already made his first trip to Rolex 3-day Event and the Kentucky Horse Park as a yearling when he took part in a breeding symposium held at Rolex 2005.
Cathy started him and has enjoyed every minute of his training from imprinting him when he was born to Preliminary level where his is now. He takes everything in stride, accepting all that has been asked of him. He is a steady competitor making improvements every time out. Simba will head to Florida with Cathy and the rest of the CW Event Team as they gear up for another exciting year. Simba will be entering his first CCI1* competition in the spring with sights set on making the move to Intermediate in 2010.
